08-30-2018 Prayer Requests

Please be in prayer for Paul Johnson. He recently had surgery and his arm is bleeding. Pray for Shirley as she takes him to the doctor and pray the doctor can stop this bleed. We now have the arrangements for Terry Nifong (Danny Nifong's father) who went home to be with the Lord yesterday. Visitation with the family will begin at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 2nd at Bethesda United Methodist Church. The service will immediately follow at 3:00 p.m. Please continue to keep the Nifong family in your prayers.

8-29-2018 Prayer Requests

Please be in prayer for the family of Danny Nifong. His father, Terry Nifong went home to be with the Lord this morning. We will call out the details of the arrangements when details become available. Also be in prayer for Nick Pitrelli's mother, Victoria. She has been in the hospital for 6 days. Her heart is in AFIB. Two treatments have failed. Doctors potentially may do an ablation. Please pray for doctor's wisdom as they treat Victoria and for God's touch upon her body. Pray for Tanya Huie. She is at FMC and possibly has bell's palsy. She is scheduled for an MRI. Pray for God's touch upon her body.

08-27-2018 Prayer Requests

Please be in prayer for Angela Karus. This is the mother of Greg Karus and Alison Collins. She is in ICU with a critical GI bleed. Please pray doctors will soon find the source of the bleed so they can stop it. Thank you for your prayers for Paul Johnson. He came through his carpel tunnel surgery this morning. Pray for Paul & Shirley through his recovery. We want to give you an update on Lorelei Druhl. She is showing signs of improvement but continue to pray for doctor's wisdom as they make future decisions and continue to treat Lorelei. Be in prayer for a boy who is homeless named Scott. This is someone that Jim & Lorelei Druhl's son is trying to help and witness to. He has physical and mental issues and is not allowed to stay in homeless shelters because of his mental condition. Please pray the Lord will work in Scott's life and meet every need. Pray that Scott would come to know Christ as his Savior. Please be in prayer for Bobby Bridges (friend of Frank Thomas). He had a stroke and has paralysis. Pray for God's touch. Pray for Kieth Frytag (neighbor of Frank & Carol Thomas). He has been diagnosed with cancer. Pray for God's touch upon his body.

Please be in prayer Paul & Shirley Johnson. Paul will be having carpel tunnel surgery on his left hand early tomorrow morning. Pray this surgery goes well and for a good recovery.

Please pray for Janice Richardson. She is at Forsyth Medical Center with Pneumonia. She has lost blood and doctors are trying to determine how best to treat her. Pray for doctor's wisdom and for healing.

8-23-2018 Prayer Requests

We now have the arrangements for John Linville, Joe Linville's brother, who passed away July 25th. There will be a Celebration of Life service Monday, August 27th at 6:30 p.m. at Hayworth Miller Funeral Home on Silas Creek Parkway. Visitation with the family will be just prior to the service from 5:00 p.m. - 6:15 p.m. Please keep the Linville Family in your prayers.

8-22-2018 Prayer Requests

We now have the arrangements for Charles Presley. His Celebration of Life Service will be this Saturday, August 25th at 2:00 p.m. at Faith Church. There will be visitation with the family following the service in the FLC. Please continue to keep the Presley family in your prayers. Please be in prayer for Lorelei Druhl. A doctor has now found where her infection is coming from. There is a pinhole in her colon causing the abscess. Please pray for God's touch on Lorelei and for complete healing. She has an appointment in two weeks. Pray this appointment will go well and for doctor's wisdom as they continue to treat Lorelei. Please be in prayer for Teresa Johnson. She is at home from the hospital but is having issues with her blood pressure, she has a bulging disc which is causing much pain and she will be traveling to Florida for her mother's Memorial service which will be Sunday, September 2nd. She still has kidney stones. Pray for safe travel, encouragement and comfort during this time and for the kidney stone surgery to go well when she gets back from Florida.

Please be in prayer for Lew Thomas. He has been undergoing tests in the ER at Forsyth Medical Center today due to severe pain he has been experiencing. He has been diagnosed with a UTI. He has other issues going on as well. Pray specifically for pain relief. Pray for Ronda Haywood. This is a friend of Larry Kearns. She has been diagnosed with cancer in her liver and lungs. Pray for God's touch upon her body.

Please be in prayer for Debbie Jackson. She has a mass in her left breast. She is having a biopsy and should find out the results Friday.

08-12-2018 Prayer Requests

We also want to give you an update on Fran Lindley's friend, Mary. she came through her back surgery yesterday and is doing well. Pray for a good recovery. Please be in prayer for Riley Huneycutt. She is having massive oral surgery. Normally this is a 1 hour procedure but this will take 4-6 hours. This will improve her ability to chew and swallow. Pray for minimal pain following the surgeryand for a smooth recovery. She will be in the hospital tonight and possibly tomorrow night. C.A. Hyatt came through his surgery. He had two stints put in (1 for a 70% Blockage and one for a 90% blockage). Please pray as he recovers.

08-09-2018 Prayer Requests

Please be in prayer for Lorelei Druhl. She is having a procedure today. Pray doctors will find the source of the infection she has been battling and treat it correctly. Pray for complete healing. Pray for Leon Small. He went to the doctor today. His blood pressure was low and his heart rate was high. His heart is out of rhythm. He has been admitted to Thomasville Hospital.

Please be in prayer for Shelly Simpson, Jerry Stewart's daughter. She has a rare cancer in her appendix. It has metastisized and has spread to her abdomen. She starts chemo treatments today. Pray for God's touch upon her body. Yvonne Nance is now at home from rehab following her surgery. Continue to pray as she recovers.

Please pray for Dot Jones. She is going to The Oaks for rehab tomorrow. Ryan Cooke is much improved from his condition last week. Lew Thomas came through his surgery and everything came out clear. Yvonne Nance is now at home after being in rehab following hip surgery. Pray for C.A. Hyatt as he is in the hospital. Doctors are running tests.
