5-28-14 Prayer Requests

Please be in prayer for David Wolfe (Joye Beckner's brother).  He went back to the hospital yesterday and was diagnosed with atrial flutter which can cause blood clots.  Today he will be undergoing tests in search of clots.  Please pray for good results.  Joye also wants to thank you for all the prayers for the health needs not only for her brother David but her brother Dennis and sister Lynn.  She has seen the Lord working in all of their lives.

Also be in prayer for Marie Mabe, an aquaintance of Sharron Linville.  She has heart issues.

Pray for Rev. Wayne Nelson brother-in-law of Ronnie W. Nifong and good friend of Pastor Albert Smith.  He is a 6 year double lung transplant survivor.  He is at Duke Hospital with Pneumonia, a blood infection and partial kidney failure. 

5-22-14 Prayer Requests

Please be in prayer for Alicia Hughart.  This is the sister of a good friend of Brenda Sink.  She was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer and it has already spread to her colon.  She is a 35 year old mother of two.  Please pray for healing.  

5-21-14 Prayer Requests

Please be in prayer for Lynn Foltz, Joye Beckner's sister.  She is having a lung biopsy today.  She has been diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis.  Please pray the biopsy will go well.

Also be in prayer for David Wolfe, Joye Beckner's brother.  He had a stroke on Friday.

Please be in prayer for Wayne Goins.  He is still having trouble with his equillibrium.  He is under the care of a neurologist and is scheduled to have more injections soon that should help with this.  

Nancy Norman is in much need of prayer.  The plan is to move her to Hospice today.
 

5-19-14 Prayer Requests

Please be in prayer for the family of Tommy Steele.  This was a good friend of Yvonne Beck's.  Tommy went to be with the Lord Sunday, May 18th.  The family will receive friends  from 6-8 p.m. Wed., May 21st at J.C. Green in Wallburg.  Funeral services for Tommy will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 22, 2014 in the J.C. Green & Sons Funeral Home chapel.

5-20-14 Prayer Requests

Please be in prayer for Gertrude Rothrock.  This is Theo Payton's aunt.  She is in the hospital diagnosed with Congestive Heart failure.  Please pray for Doctor's wisdom as they treat her and for a special touch from the Lord.

5-14-14 Prayer Requests

Please be in prayer for Nancy Norman.  She is at FMC.  She has had some episodes of passing out.  Please pray she won't have any more problems with this.

We also want to give you an update on Daphne Morrison.  She came through her surgery.  It went well.   She has been experiencing a lot of pain.  Please pray for pain relief and complete healing. 

Please be in prayer for Kelly Mullis, Yvonne Beck's granddaughter.  She is in a hospital in Salisbury with several health issues.

5-13-2014 Prayer requests

Please be in prayer for Reggie Moore.  He is at FMC dealing with very serious pain.  Please pray that doctor's will be able to figure out what is causing this pain and treat it accordingly.

Pray for Daphne Morrison as she has a medical procedure today.

Please  be in prayer for Mae Long.  She fell and broke several fingers.

Please be in prayer for Arlyn Disher & family upon the death of his mother Bea Disher.  The funeral will be today at 2:00 p.m. at Zion UCC (130 Hasty School Rd.). 

4-25-14 Prayer Requests

Please be in prayer for Carol Thomas.  She is scheduled to have knee surgery this Monday, April 28th.  Please pray this surgery will be a success.

Please be in prayer for Hannah Rhodes.  She had knee surgery and is in a lot of pain.  Please pray for pain relief.

5-1-14 Prayer Requests

Please be in prayer for Sue Zimmerman, a friend of Danny and Amy Hedrick.  She is at FMC with bleeding on the brain.  Please pray for Doctor's wisdom as they treat her and that the bleeding will stop. 

Danny and Amy have also asked that we pray for God's touch upon their friend, Michael McKnight's father who has recently been diagnosed with brain cancer.
