2-28-2018 Prayer Requests

Please be in prayer for Peggy Everhart, Will Everhart's wife. She has been dealing with numerous health issues and last night she fell and broke her right hip and right arm. She is in the ER at Forsyth. Please pray for God's touch upon her body. She will have surgery this morning. Regina Pomeroy has come through her surgery. It went well. Kelly Barlow is going home following her surgery. Pray for a good recovery. Leon Koontz is doing really good. He is up and walking. Tommy Anderson has been moved to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem.

2-27-2018 Prayer Requests

Please be in prayer for the family of Bob Fletcher. His graveside service will be today at 10:30 a.m. at Oaklawn Cemetery. Pray for Kelly Barlow, Do & Jo Barlow's daughter-in-law as she is scheduled for a very serious foot surgery today. Pray for Leon Koontz as he is scheduled for surgery today. Pray for Regina Pomeroy as she is scheduled for surgery Wednesday. Leon Koontz came through his surgery today. He did wonderful and will be in the hospital at least 4 or 5 days. Pray as he recovers. Kelly Barlow, Do and Jo Barlow's daughter-in-law came through her foot surgery today. The surgery went well. Pray as she recovers. Tracy Riffle had a surgical procedure today. It was successful. Pray as she recovers.

Please be in prayer for Starr Lawson. She is at Baptist Hospital with Pneumonia. Pray for God's touch upon her body. Please be in prayer for Kelly Barlow, Do and Jo Barlow's daughter-in-law. She is at Forsyth Medical Center. She had surgery for an infection in her foot. Please pray for healing. Please be in prayer for Bob Fletcher and his family as his home going is very near. Pray God will give the family peace and comfort and for God's touch upon his body. Pray for Sylvia Snyder and family upon the death of her sister, Thelma Tuttle Kennedy who passed away this morning. Pray for peace and comfort for the entire family.

2-20-2018 Prayer Requests

Please be in prayer for the family of Russell Nifong. He went home to be with the Lord Sunday. Visitation with the family will be tonight at Hayworth Miller on Silas Creek from 6-8 p.m. The funeral will be Wednesday, February 21st at 11:00 a.m. Please pray for the family of Annie Bentley, mother of Joyce Arrington and Linda Stewart. She went home to be with the Lord last night. Remember JoAnna Nifong's stepfather. He is in ICU. Pray for God's touch upon his body. Pray for Tim Hiatt as he begins radiation treatments tomorrow. PRAISE! Heather Stanley, Dena Wilkes' granddaughter, is now able to talk, walk with a cane and may get to go home Thursday.

Annette Nifong came through her knee replacement surgery. Pray for pain management. Thank you for your prayers for Lew Thomas. He is now home from the hospital. A stint was put in and his kidney is working. Please be in prayer for Tommy Anderson, Rhetta Anderson's husband. He is at FMC and in need of God's touch upon his body. Pray for Sohni Nifong as he is scheduled to have a procedure today to remove a kidney stone.

Please continue to pray for Janice Richardson. She is in the hospital with heart issues and Pneumonia. The son of a friend of Chip Edwards had exploratory surgery last week. No cancer was found. He had an infection. Pray for Annette Nifong who had surgery yesterday. Pray for Anne Shropshire's mother. She was in the hospital with Pneumonia. She came home Friday and fell during the night. She is having Nausea and Diarreah. Anne is with her.

02-11-2018 Prayer Requests

Pray for Gerry Hartsell upon the death of her mother, Catherine Gaither. Pray for Joyce Turney who went to the hospital. Pray for Lew Thomas who is preparing to undergo surgery on his kidney. Pray as he only has one good kidney. Pray for Barry Davis. There are 4 spots on his brain. He will be undergoing tests.

Please be in prayer for Frank Mullis. He has been admitted to Hospital. Pray doctors will have wisdom in helping Frank. Pray for Russell Nifong as he is at home. Pray God will be with him and give him strength as well as all the family. Pray for Leon Koontz. He is doing well but will have to stay in until is surgery on the 27th. Thank you for your prayers for Barbara Wilkes. She came through her surgery and is doing well. Continue to pray as she recovers.

Please be in prayer for the teenage son of a friend of Chip Edwards. He is having exploratory surgery. Please pray for God's touch upon his body. Pray for Chip as he has an outpatient procedure next week on his back. Pray specifically for pain relief.

Please be in prayer for the family of Lamar Nifong, father of JoAnn Snyder and brother to Willa Sowers. He went home to be with the Lord early this morning. We will share details of the arrangements as information becomes available. We also request prayer for Heather Stanley, Dena Wilkes' granddaughter. She is scheduled for surgery this morning. Pray this surgery goes well. Continue to pray for Tim Cooke. He lost the tip of his index finger. He also had stitches in his middle finger. He will be released from the hospital this afternoon. Pray that he will remain infection free and that April will be able to arrange for him to have follow-up when he returns from Panama.

Pray for Rusty Hall, Wilma Hall's son. He is in the hospital with chest pains. Doctors are running tests. Continue to pray for Wilma Hall. She still has the flu.
