6-27-14 Prayer Requests

Please pray for Clayton Reich.  He had a TIA stroke.  He is at FMC.

Also be in prayer for Kelly Mullis, Yvonne Beck's granddaughter.  She is at Rowan Hospital in Salisbury experiencing severe pain.  Please pray for Doctor's wisdom as they treat her and for pain relief.

Also be in prayer for Albie & Tammy Bridges, friends of Will and Sandra Hill.  There son was killed in a car accident last night and this family needs your prayers.

We also ask that your remember the family of Nancy Norman.  Her service is today at 2pm at Hayworth Miller Silas Creek.

Please pray for the family of Todd Byrd (Natalie Williams' father).  His stepmother passed away earlier this week.

6-25-14 Prayer Requests

Please be in prayer for Rick Tally & family upon the homegoing of his father, Jack Tally.  Mr. Tally went to be with the Lord this morning.   The arrangements are as follows:  The visitation will be 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. this Saturday, June 28th at Salem Funeral Home on S. Main Street in Winston-Salem.  The funeral will immediately follow at 1:00 p.m. 

6-24-14 Prayer Requests

Please be in prayer for Gary Perrell. This is the father of Andy Perrell and Christy Wall.  He had a hearth cath this morning and is scheduled to have heart surgery this Thursday, June 26th.  He will have an aortic valve replaced.

We want to give you an update on Norman Wilkes.  He had a new defibrillator put in today.  The surgery went well.  Continue to pray as he recovers.

Florence Aquilano is currently in stable condition at this time.  Please pray for strength and healing for her.

Also remember Wilma Cockman.  She is having gall bladder surgery as we speak.  Pray this surgery will go well.

Billy Beeson-home following hip surgery-continue to pray as he recovers

Continue to remember Audrey Merritt,  Anne Shropshire's mother that God will give her healing.

Remember Jack Tally (Rick Tally's father) and his entire family as he is under Hospice care.

Please pray for Wilma Cockman as she faces gall bladder surgery.

Please pray for Florence Aquilano.  She was taken to the hospital with internal bleeding.

Please be in prayer for Audrey Merrit (Anne Shropshire's mother).

Please remember Pam Tilley as she recovers from foot surgery.

Pray for the family of Nancy Norman.  She went home to be with the Lord.  Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Friday, June 27th at Hayworth Miller (Silas Creek).  The funeral will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m.  Burial will take place at Parklawn.

Please be in prayer for Norman Wilkes as he has a heart procedure tomorrow morning.

Pray for Ken Kristophel (son-in-law of Lou & Joan Thomas)-he has ACL repair on Thurs.

Pray for Deloras Vaden (Aunt of Chip Edwards) she is recovering from a severe stroke.  She is in much pain from physical therapy.

Thank you for your prayers for Leon & Pat Small.  They have safely returned from Brazil.

We now have the funeral arrangements for Lawrence Beckner.  They are as follows:  Visitation will be at Faith Church this Sunday, June 22 at 2 p.m.   The service will immediately follow at 4 p.m. Burial will take place in Faith's cemetary.   Please continue to keep Joye and the entire family in your prayers.  

6-18-2014 Prayer Requests

Please be in prayer for Sandra Druhl.  This is the daughter-in-law of Jim & Lorelei Druhl.  She had a Thyroid biopsy last week and the results revealed she does have Thyroid Cancer.  Please pray for doctor's wisdom as they treat Sandra.

Please be in prayer for Steve Hunt (brother-in-law to Brian Edwards).  He is in critical care at Baptist after severe injuries he sustained from a 30 ft. fall while cutting trees.

Continue to pray for Florence Aquilano as she goes home tomorrow from the hospital.

Pray for Lyle Newsome who has sinus surgery scheduled for tomorrow.

Pray for Lawrence Beckner who faces a 4-way bypass Wednesday.

Pray for James Yale who is having orthoscopic knee surgery tomorrow.

Pray for Lawrence Beckner who is at FMC with a possible heart attack.

Pray for Florence Aquilano whose blood pressure is low.  She will be in the hospital at least another day.

6-13-14 Prayer Requests

Hyacinth Jenkins had a pacemaker put in on Thursday.  She is now at home.

Pray for Pam Tilley who fell and broke her ankle.  She is scheduled to see an orthopedic surgeon on Monday to schedule surgery.

Please be in prayer for Betty Edwards.  She is having kidney surgery today.  Please pray this goes well.

Please pray for Libby Faust as she has surgery on her knee tomorrow.

The arrangements for Mary Shirley, Lisa Shirley's mother-in-law are as follows:  Visitation will be tomorrow (Friday, June 13th) from 10-11 a.m. at Hayworth Miller on Silas Creek Parkway.  The service will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m.-same location.

Praise that Frank Thomas went home from the hospital!

6-7-14 Prayer Requests

Please be in prayer for Tony Florez, the husband of Lorelei Druhl's niece.  He fell with a glass in hand and had to have an 8 hour surgery.  Please pray for pain relief and complete healing.
