1-31--2017 Prayer Requests

Pray for Pastor Albert Smith.  He is having a cystogram today-pray results will be favorable for him to have prostate surgery.

Pray for  Kelly Kennedy (Bob & Brenda Kennedy's son)-his heart surgery has been postponed until tomorrow.  The family has asked that no visitors come today because Kelly is very tired.

Continue to remember Robert Jeffreys and his health issues.

1-27-2017 Prayer Requests

Pray for the family of Debbie Barker.  Debbie was the sister of Nancy Fulk.  She passed away last night. 

Pray for the family of Ryan Parker.  Ryan was David & Anne Shropshire's son-in-law's brother. He also passed away last night.  Please pray for God's comfort for both of these families in their time of loss. 

Please be in prayer for Carol Thomas.  She is being hospitalized for an abscess on her colon.  Please pray this will not increase in size and for doctor's wisdom as they treat her.

1-26-2017 Prayer Requests

Pray for Tanya Huie.  She is having back surgery this morning.  Pray this surgery will be successful and for pain management following the surgery.

Pray for Pat Stewart who is scheduled for a heart ablation Feb. 1st.  Pray this procedure goes well.

1-24-2017 Prayer Requests

Please be in prayer for Angel Lindley (daughter-in-law of Fran Lindley).  She is scheduled to see a surgeon Thursday for the removal of a pollup.  Please pray for the surgeon  to have wisdom and for peace for Angel and her husband Robbie.

Pray for Joe Jones as he has been taken to the hospital by ambulance with heart issues.  Pray for doctor's wisdom as they treat him.  

Pray for Kelly Kennedy (Bob & Brenda Kennedy's son)-he is at Lexington Hospital with serious health issues.  Doctors think it is cardiac related.  He will be moved to High Point Regional.  Pray for God's touch upon his body.

Donald Nifong came through his surgery.  Please continue to pray for a good recovery and management of pain.

Pray for Janice Richardson.  She has double pneumonia.  Pray for God's touch upon her body.

Pray for Betty Truett.  She has serious physical issues.  She is at the hospital undergoing tests.  Pray for good results and for doctor's wisdom as they treat her.

Pray for the family of Marsha Bean (Debbie Jackson's sister-in-law).  Marsha passed away on Saturday night.  Please keep the family in your prayers.

1-20-2017 Prayer Requests

Please be in prayer for Wanda Livengood (Wendy McAlpine's mother) as she undergoes a double mastectomy.  Pray for a smooth recovery.

Pray for Melody Collins.  She has a sinus infection, bladder infection and has viral gastroenteritis.  Pray for God's touch upon her body.

Pray for Mary Stout (daughter of Joe and Susie Stout).  She starts chemo treatments next week for pancreatic cancer.  Pray for the effectiveness of these treatments.

Please be in prayer for Kelley Huneycutt as she recovers from surgery.  She is now at home but does not have test results back yet.

Pray for Melody Collins who has been very sick.  She has had a hard time keeping food down and has received IV fluids.  Please pray for God's touch upon her body.

01-16-2016 Prayer Requests

Please be in prayer for Jim & Lorelei Druhl's daughter-in-law, Sandra.  She is having a colonoscopy and endoscopy today.  Pray for good results from these procedures.

Pray for the Dudley family.  These are longtime friends of April Cooke.  Their 21 year old son was shot and killed.  They will be traveling back to the states from Puerto Rico.  Please pray for safe travel and for peace and comfort during this difficult time.

1-11-2017 Prayer Requests

Pray for Kelley Huneycutt.  She is having surgery to remove a brain tumor this afternoon.  Please pray this surgery goes well.

Pray for Zack Sink, Jeremy Sink's son.  He was shot last night.  He is at Baptist Hospital and seems to be doing well.  We have no further details at this time.  Please pray for a complete recovery.

Pray for Bill Smith, brother of Pastor Albert Smith.  He had a stroke. Please pray as he recovers. 

1-10-2016 Prayer Requests

Please be in prayer for the family of Nancy Hines.  Nancy went home to be with the Lord Friday.  A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 11th at 11:00 a.m. at Canaan UMC Cemetary.

Pray for the family of Yvonne Nance and family upon the death of her husband, Lenn.  Lenn also went home to be with the Lord Friday.  A service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 14th at Davidson Funeral Home on Hickory Tree.  The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. 

Pray for Robert Jeffreys.  He has now been moved to Hospice House in Winston-Salem.

Please be in prayer for Phyllis Branch.  Phyllis sometimes attends Faith Church and is a friend in the community.  She is facing open heart surgery.  Pray this goes well.

1-03-2017 Prayer Requests

Pray for Robert Jeffries.  He is in the emergency room at Forsyth Hospital.  Pray for doctors as they make decisions and as they run tests.

Pray for Lenn Nance who is at Forsyth with multiple health issues.  He will be moved to a Palliative Care bed as soon as one becomes available.  Remember his wife, Yvonne, during this difficult time.

Pray for the niece of Vonnie Davis. She has blood clots on her brain stem.  She is in a coma.  Pray for God's touch upon her body.

Sandra Hill would like to thank you for your prayers for her son's mother-in-law, Lynette Newbaur.  She is now stabelized, sitting up and walking.  Please continue to pray for her health to improve.
