11-25-14 Prayer Requests

Please be in prayer for April Cooke's father, James Markham.  He was taken to the emergency room with chest pains.  He is having an EKG.

Also be in prayer for Libby Faust and family upon the death of her brother.

We have an update on April Cooke's father, James Markham.  He does have a blockage and will be transferred to a hospital in Norfolk, VA.  He may face surgery before the end of the day.  Pray for God's protection and healing.

Also be in prayer for Marie Woodlief.  She fell and has broken ribs.  She is at FMC 

11-24-14 Prayer Requests

Please be in prayer for Sandra Teague.  This is Kitty Presley's sister.  She is having her gall bladder removed today.

Also be in prayer for Ellen Hines as she will have gall bladder surgery tomorrow morning.

11-21-14 Prayer Requests

Please be in prayer for the family of Erin Lewey and her sister Alison English upon the death of their father, Tim Lewey.  He passed away Wednesday.  The arrangements are as follows:  visitation will be Sunday, Nov. 23rd at 1:30 p.m. at Westover Church in Greensboro.  The service will follow at 2:30 p.m.  There will be a graveside service afterward.

Also be in prayer for Hilda Robinson.  She was told by her doctor.  She has incurable lung cancer- Pray as they make decisions on Dec. 3rd.

11-20-14 Prayer Requests

Please be in prayer for Debbie Adams (Karen Smith's cousin)-she is having a lesion removed from her brain at 1:00 p.m. today.

Also be in prayer for an employee of Frank & Carol Thomas (Susie).  Tests recently indicated she is beginning to have heart issues.  She is scheduled to see a cardiologist Nov. 24th.  Pray this will go well.

Please be in prayer for Daphne Morrison.  Her endomitriosis has returned.  Please pray for pain relief.

11-18-14 Prayer Requests

Please be in prayer for the family of Rhea Pruitt (the mother of a co-worker of Greg Karus).  She passed away Sunday.  Pray for the co-worker, Kim Vickrey and her family as well for comfort and salvation.  Thank you for your prayers.

We also have a praise to report.  Bob Fletcher came through his kidney stone surgery.   His doctor was able to successfully remove a 9 mm kidney stone.  He had a stint removed yesterday and is doing well.

Please pray for Oscar and Monica Fuentes (Co-Director of WOL Guatemala and his wife).  She is experiencing difficulty with her pregnancy.  The situation is now critical.

Please be in prayer for April Cooke.  She is scheduled for back surgery in the morning at 9:00 a.m.

Please pray for the Lefevre family (friends of Greg and Karen Karus) upon the death of their young daughter.   She was involved in an accidental shooting.  The father is facing charges.  This family desperately needs your prayers.

We had also asked you to pray for Rhea Pruitt (Greg Karus's co-worker's mother).  She had cancer surgery and is now in critical care on a ventilator.

The Karus family has also asked us to remember the Sprinkle family.  This family recently had a son that took his life and this family definitely needs strength and comfort. 

11-13-14 Prayer Requests

Please be in prayer for Monica Fuentes, the wife of Oscar Fuentes (co-director of Word of Life Guatemala).  She is expecting a baby in January and has felt like she is having contractions.  She is now on bed rest.  Please pray she will not go in to labor early.

Please pray for Noreen Birney (Shannon Roussell's mom)-She was readmitted to the hospital with complications from her recent surgery.  Pray for God's healing touch and that no further surgery will be necessary.

11-11-14 Prayer Requests

Please be in prayer for Sandy Mauny (Shirley Brinkley's sister)-she has had difficulty swallowing for a while now.  She has lost weight and this morning will be having a procedure to help with this issue.  Please pray for complete healing.

 Update on Sandy Mauny (Shirley Brinkley's sister)!-During her procedure this morning, the doctor found a growth inside her esophogus.  Please continue to pray as a feeding tube will have to be put in as well as for the results of the biopsy.  Pray for doctor's wisdom and for peace for Sandy as she deals with this news.

Pray for Kim Pruitt (a co worker's mother of Greg Karus).  She is having surgery for a perforation in her bowel caused by cancer.  Pray the surgery is successful.

11-6-14 Prayer Requests

Please be in prayer for Odell Yow (Lisa Shirley's father).  He was readmitted to FMC today with low blood sugar and a temperature.  He is scheduled for a CT scan.

Be in prayer for Daphne Morrison.  She had surgery back in May and has been experiencing severe pain.  A recent CT scan revealed a mass.  She is scheduled for an ultrasound in the morning.  Please pray for wisdom for the doctors as they treat her and for pain relief. 

11-04-13 Prayer Requests

Please be in prayer for Gerald & Theo Payton's 4 year old granddaughter, Cherith.  She is facing eardrum reconstruction surgery.  Please pray this surgery is successful and for wisdom for the doctors as they treat her.

Also be in prayer for Laura Whaley, the daughter of a friend of Lou and Joan Thomas.  She has a staff infection.  Please pray for complete healing. 

Please be in prayer for April Cooke.  She is facing back surgery and will meet with a surgeon tomorrow.  Please pray this meeting and the upcoming surgery will go well.

Please be in prayer for Jim & Lorelei Druhl's grandson, Andrew.  He will have a port-a-cath removed tomorrow.  Pray the Lord will take away any anxiety away.

Pray for Brenda Yokeley and family upon the death of her who passed away this morning.

Pray for Todd Barlow.  He faces surgery for a cyst on his ribs (a biopsy showed no signs of cancer).  Pray doctors can get all of the cyst.
