05-29-15 Prayer Requests

Please be in prayer for Frank & Anita Mullis.  Their daughter, Donna Clodfelter, called us this morning to inform us that Frank will be moved to Bermuda Commons for rehab.  Anita was admitted to FMC last night with the beginning of Pneumonia.

Donna also requested prayer for the Courage for Kaleb Fundraiser tomorrow, Saturday, May 30th (11am-6:00pm) at Wallburg Fire Department.  Kaleb has Hunter's Syndrome.  This fundraiser will help with his medical expenses.

Pray for Sybil Laughter (pronounced Lawter).  This is the mother of Sandra Hill.  She has Alzheimer's Disease and has recently shown a big decline.  Also pray for Sandra and her brother as they help care for her.

Lou May came through her open heart surgery with a two way by-pass.  Continue to pray as she recovers from this.

Johnny Faust had his outpatient shoulder surgery and is now at home.  Pray as he recovers.

Bob Carson, Roberta Plumley's brother is home from the hospital.  Pray for his recovery.  Roberta and these other families would like to thank you for your prayers.

Please be in prayer for Lou May.  She is having open heart surgery in the morning.

Pray for John Faust who is having outpatient shoulder surgery in the morning.

PRAISE--Jimmie Nichol (friend of Frank & Carol Thomas)--her memory has been restored after dealing with a urinary tract infection.  Thank you for your prayers!!!

05-27-15 Prayer Requests

Please be in prayer for 5 year old Maddie Hobbs, She is the little girl who was in need of surgery quickly due to a diagnosis of malignant melanoma.  She had the surgery and a malignant tumor was removed from her stomach.  She also had lymph nodes removed from her stomach.  It will be next week before they get results of the biopsy.  Please pray this will come back negative.

Please be in prayer for Lou May.  She is having a heart cath this morning.  Pray for good results.

Please be in prayer for Bob Carson.  This is the brother of Roberta Plumley.  He was having severe pain this morning.  He went to Baptist Hospital and is having his appendix removed.  Doctors will perform exploratory surgery to find out what else may be going on.

Pray for the Pruitt and Moore families as the decision has been made to remove a 63 year old cousin of Sandra Hill from life support.  

Pray for Ralph Maiden (friend of Frank & Carol Thomas)-he has congestive heart failure and Pneumonia.

Bob Carson had appendix surgery and is being kept overnight for observation.

05-26-2015 Prayer Requests

PRAISE--Terry Jones (Teresa Johnson's father) who was recently diagnosed with two types of cancer came through surgery today.  He had a kidney removed and doctors discovered the two cancers he has are not connected.  This is good news.  Please continue to pray for Mr. Jones and for the next step in this process.

Todd McDaniel (David Boles' Son)-who was injured in a head on collision last week is now in rehab.  When the doctor went in to perform surgery, he found it wasn't necessary.  Please continue to pray as he recovers.

Please be in prayer for Lou May.  She was admitted to FMC with Afib.  Doctors will be running further tests.

05-22-15 Prayer Requests

Please be in prayer for Nancy Timmons (Pastor Albert Smith's sister).  She has low blood sugar, an irregular heartbeat and she is still recovering from her recent colostomy surgery.  Please pray for a special touch from the Lord. 

05-20-15 Prayer Requests

UPDATE on Todd McDaniel and his daughter (Diana Boles' son and granddaughter).  They were involved in a head-on collision.  The driver of the other car apparently fell asleep at the wheel.  Todd is at Baptist Hospital.  He has a cracked vertebrae, fractured hips and he may have a broken leg.  His daughter seems to be O.K. She has a sore wrist.  He may face surgery soon.  Please pray as he recovers. 

05-19-15 Prayer Requests

Please be in prayer for 5 year old Maddie Hobbs.  This is the young daughter of Jenny Hobbs,  a friend of Becky Vires.  Maddie has been diagnosed with malignant melanoma.  She needs to be scheduled for surgery ASAP.  Pray this surgery will be scheduled soon, that doctors will be able to get everything and the cancer will not spread.

Please pray for Steve Watts.  This is Gerry Hartsell's son-in-law.  He is having hip replacement surgery at FMC tomorrow.

Pray for Todd McDaniel.  This is Diana Boles' son.  He and his stepdaughter were in a head on collision and are on their way to the hospital.  Pray their injuries will not be serious.

05-14-15 Prayer Request

Please be in prayer for Jimmie Nickel.  This is the mother of an employee of Frank & Carol Thomas.  She is dealing with memory loss as a result of a urinary tract infection.  She is now on an antibiotic.  Please pray that the infection will soon clear up and her memory would be restored.

Debra Johnson would like to thank the church for their prayers for her sister, Phyllis Wooten.  Phyllis had a broken hip, had a partial hip replacement and then had complications eating.  A biopsy has revealed no cancer.  Please continue to pray for healing.

05-13-15 Prayer Requests

Shirley Johnson is home from the hospital and she wants to thank the church for all their prayers.

Continue your prayers for Frank Mullis as he is still in the hospital.

Pray for John Spainhour (JoAnna Nifong's brother).  He is scheduled for surgery tomorrow at 3 p.m. after breaking his jaw in 3 places.  His jaw will be wired shut for 6 weeks.  Pray

5-12-15 Prayer Requests

Please be in prayer for Frank Mullis.  He is going to have a procedure today to have blood and fluid that has built up around his brain removed.  Pray this procedure will be successful and for healing.

Pray for Jadon Cooke who will have tubes put in his ears tomorrow.

Daphne Morrison came through her surgery.  We ask that you pray for her as she recovers.  

5-11-15 Prayer Requests

Please be in prayer for Shirley Johnson-she has a UTI and is now on an antibiotic-pray for healing.

Pray for Phyllis Wooten (Debra Johnson's sister)-She is at FMC where she had a partial hip replacement.  She was unable to eat and is now facing surgery for a hiatal hernia.

Pray for Daphne Morrison.  She is having surgery tomorrow for endometriosis.

05-05-15 Prayer Requests

Please be in prayer for Terry Jones (father of Teresa Johnson).  He has been diagnosed with two types of cancer.  He has a mass on his kidney and a tumor in his bladder.  Pray for him as he faces surgery.  Pray for the doctor's treating him that they will determine the best way to help him and for the family. 

Pray for Chris Williams (the relative of a co-worker of Greg Karus)-He had a heart attack and needs a mitral valve replacement.

05-04-15 Prayer Requests

Please be in prayer for Mona Cox as doctor's adjust her medication.  She is having difficulty breathing.

Pray for Tommy & Pat Holt's grandson upon the death of his mother who was in a motorcycle accident.

Pray for Harold Ray Edwards who had surgery to restore blood flow to his legs.  He will be in hospital until the end of the week.

Pray for Brian & Rhonda Watson on assignment in Germany.  Rhonda is Hilda Clodfelter's niece.  Brian has had two heart procedures this past week.  Pray for Rhonda as she tries to communicate clearly with the doctors in Germany.
