9-30-2020 Prayer Requests

Please be in prayer for the the family of Jr. Huie. Jr. went home to be with the Lord early this morning. Please keep Tanya and the entire family in your prayers. We will do another callout when the arrangements become available. Please be in prayer for Erving Bramlett. This is Betti Kinnamon's brother. He has cancer and has been given 6 months to live. Pray for peace and comfort during this time. Please be in prayer for Eddie Martin (Libby Faust's neighbor's brother)-He has cancer in his gall bladder and liver. Pray for God's touch upon his body. Pray for Elaine Wilkinson, Steve Wagner's sister. She was taken to the hospital in Chapel Hill yesterday. Dr.'s are running tests today to determine why she is losing blood. Pray that the source of blood loss can be determined and for God to heal Elaine's body. We now have an update on Eddie Martin, (Libby Faust's neighbor's brother). He had surgery today and doctor's think they got all the cancer. We now have the funeral arrangements for Jr. Huie. The service will be Friday, Oct. 2nd at 2:00 p.m. at J.C. Green Funeral Home in Wallburg. Visitation will be just prior at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery. Continue to keep Tanya and the entire family in your prayers.

9-29-2020 Prayer Requests

Brantly Park has requested prayer for his neighbor's mother. She has cancer and will soon have tests run. Pray it hasn't spread and for complete healing. Pray for Michael Griffith. He hurt his back on Saturday and saw a spine specialist. He has a stress fracture in his back. He will undergo physical therapy. Please pray for pain relief and complete healing.

We now have an update on Jackie Raynor, Joan Bodenheimer's daughter. The spinal stenosis surgery she had yesterday went well. Pray for Jackie and Joan through the recovery process. Please be in prayer for Wanda Hiatt. She has been diagnosed with shingles. Please be in prayer for JR Huie. He is in great need of prayer at this particular time. Also pray for Tanya and the entire family at this time.

9-24-2020 Prayer Requests

Pray for Joan Bodenheimer and her daughter Jackie Raynor. She has spinal stenosis and is scheduled for surgery today. The surgery should be between 3-6 hours. Pray it goes well and for a good recovery.

Pray for Carolyn Smith, Dianne Smith's sister-in-law. She is at Baptist Hospital with a bad infection. Pray for pain relief and complete healing. Pray for Sandra Griffith, Michael Griffith's mom. She is having a heart cath tomorrow. Pray this procedure goes well, for doctors wisdom and for Michael's stepdad as her caregiver.

Please be in prayer for Lorelei Druhl. She was taken to Baptist Hospital last night. There is an abscess on her wound. Please pray for doctor's wisdom as they treat her and for God's touch upon her body.

9-17-2020 Prayer Requests

James Lakey would like to thank you for your prayers. He developed sepsis as a result of having a UTI. He is now back at home from the hospital and on antibiotics. Pray for a friend of Carol Thomas who has severe diverticulitis. She will go for a CT scan this afternoon. Pray doctors will be able to treat this with medication and a hospital stay will not be necessary.

Lou May is now home from the hospital following the aortic valve replacement surgery she had Tuesday. She is doing well and wants to thank everyone for their prayers.

Lou May came through her aortic valve replacement surgery this morning. She is headed to ICU and may get to go home tomorrow. Pray as she recovers. Pray for James Lakey. He has been at FMC since Saturday. He has a high temperature and a UTI. Leslie McDaniel has been dealing with health issues. Pray for doctor's wisdom and for complete healing.

Pray for Lou May. She is scheduled for surgery to have an aortic valve replacement early tomorrow morning. Pray for Joe Jones. He will have a procedure tomorrow. Please pray it goes well. Jerold and Sandra Teague's daugher, Yvonne tested negative for Corona Virus. This is an answer to prayer. Pray for Bobby Justus. This is Kelly Tally's uncle. He has had a stroke and has a blood clot on his brain. He is being transported to Baptist for surgery with a grim prognosis according to the doctor. Please pray for God's touch and for the surgery to go well.

9-11-2020 Prayer Requests

Pray for Rhonda Gates. She will be having a 2-5 hour heart ablation today. Please pray it will be successful and keep her heart in rhythm. Pray for Lou May. Her surgery to replace her aortic valve has been rescheduled for early Tuesday morning, Sept. 15th. She will be going to the hospital for prep work this afternoon at 1:00 pm. Pray that nothing will hinder her from having this surgey. JoAnna Tally is being discharged from the hospital today. Pray for pain relief and her recovery to go well. Rhonda Gates came through her heart ablation. The doctor said it was successful. She will be at the hospital at leasst 4 more hours or so. Please continue to pray this procedure will keep her heart in rhythm.

JoAnna Tally came through her hernia surgery. The doctor said she did great! Please continue to pray as she recovers.

9-08-2020 Prayer Requests

Please be in prayer for Lou May. She is having an aortic valve replacement this morning at 10:00. Please pray this surgery goes well. Carol Thomas has requested prayer for Alaina Hill Koontz. Alaina and her 3 chidren were involved in an automobile accident. They were hit by a drunk driver. The children were released from the hospital but Alaina after 7 or so days hasn't been able to wake up. Please pray for God's touch upon her body. Please be in prayer for Hailey Caudill (Keryl Edward's granddaughter). She went back to the hospital Sunday night. She was having migraines. When she got to the hospital she started having seizures. She is heavily sedated and in ICU. Please pray for God's touch on Hailey. Continue to pray for Judy McDaniel. She is a good friend of Linda Ratliff. She has been diagnosed with pneumonia. Doctors are keeping her sedated because otherwise she becomes very aggitated. Please pray for healing. Pray for JoAnna Tally. She is scheduled for Hiatel Hernia surgery tomorrow. Pray there won't be any complications. Pray this surgery will remedy health issues she has been having. Pray for Lou May. She is being discharged from the hospital. Because of other emergency surgeries, doctors were unable to do hers today. Her surgery will be rescheduled.

9-04-2020 Prayer Requests

We have an update on Haley Caudill. Keryl Edward's granddaughter who was diagnosed with viral meningitis. She is now at home but she is unable to walk. She will be undergoing physical therapy. Doctors are saying this will be a long road for Hailey. Pray she will be able to walk again. Please be in prayer for the family and work family of Sametra Dalton. This is a coworker of April Cooke. She was a 44 year old nurse that passed away with cancer. She had a teenage son and was also helping care for elderly parents. Please pray for God's provision over this family as well as comfort and peace. Pray for Judy McDaniel. This is a close friend of Linda Ratliff. She was taken to the hospital early this week with health issues and is now back in the hospital because her blood pressure and oxygen dropped dramatically. Please pray for doctor's to be able to determine what is going on with her. Pray for God's touch on her body.

We'd like to give you an update on Jim McAlpine. His procedure to install a pacemaker went well yesterday. He is now at home. Be in prayer for Jr. and Tanya Huie. They are both in much need of prayer. They are enjoying their cards and would appreciate limited visits at this tine.

Please be in prayer for Dena Wilkes. She is having a second surgery on her right eye this afternoon. Please pray this surgery will correct the pressure in her eye and her sight would be fully restored. We also want to let you know that Gerry Graham is now back at home. Please be in prayer for Lorelei Druhl. She is at Baptist Hospital. Jim said it appears she may have to have a drain moved or repositioned. Pray for God's touch upon Lorelei as she undergoes tests today and as doctors determine what needs to be done. Also be in prayer for Jim McAlpine. He is going to have a pacemaker put in at 3:00 p.m. Pray this surgery goes well. Pray for Jackie Raynor, this is JoAnne Bodenheimer's daughter. She has spinal stenosis and is scheduled for surgery Sept. 24th.
