Please be in prayer for Tim Stout, Joe and Susie Stout's son. He is in a hospital in Fort Wayne,IN. He was diagnosed with COVID several weeks ago and now has 3 blood clots in his left lung. He is also still testing positive for COVID. Please pray for God's touch upon his body. Be in prayer for the family of Dave Farlow. His son, Joe passed away Monday. Please continue to pray for Tamara Edwards, Betty Edwards' daughter-in-law. As a reminder, she had cancer surgery. Aside from that, she's had a colostomy. Results from Mayo clinic were inconclusive. She will begin chemo treatments at the first of next week. Pray for God's touch upon her body. We now have an update on Jack Jones. He came through his surgery yesterday to have his other leg removed and is now in ICU. He should be home in the next 3 or 4 days. Please pray for a good recovery and for God's touch upon Jack.

She had surgery to remove a mass in her kidney. 4 tumors were found. One is wrapped around her artery. Only part of the tumors were removed. She will take chemo treatments. Pray for doctor's wisdom and God's touch upon Tamara. Pray for Diane Decker's father, David Wagoner who lives in Greensboro. His body is under attack after severe infection. He is being sent home today from the hospital under Hospice care. Please keep Mr. Wagoner, Diane and the entire family in your prayers. Dena Wilkes would like to thank you for your prayers concerning the issues she has with her eyes. Dena has been encouraged by your prayers. She will be going back to the eye doctor Nov. 2nd. He is scheduled for a heart cath on Monday. Please be in prayer for Robert Carson. This is Roberta Plumley's father. His kidneys are failing and he has been placed under in-home Hospice Care. Please continue to pray for Lorelei Druhl. There is a leak in an abscess drain from her abdomen. Also pray for decisions to be makde concerning her home health care as they are in need of assistance 2 to 3 days a week. She had surgery early August for cancer. They have found a mass in the kidney area. They are waiting on pathology report to see what the next steps are to be taken. He is improving from inflammation of cellulitis in feet and legs-has been treated with strong antibiotics.

He had surgery today and doctor's think they got all the cancer. We now have the funeral arrangements for Jr. Huie. The service will be Friday, Oct. 2nd at 2:00 p.m. at J.C. Green Funeral Home in Wallburg. Visitation will be just prior at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery. Continue to keep Tanya and the entire family in your prayers.

James Lakey would like to thank you for your prayers. He developed sepsis as a result of having a UTI. He is now back at home from the hospital and on antibiotics. Pray for a friend of Carol Thomas who has severe diverticulitis. She will go for a CT scan this afternoon. Pray doctors will be able to treat this with medication and a hospital stay will not be necessary.

He has had a stroke and has a blood clot on his brain. He is being transported to Baptist for surgery with a grim prognosis according to the doctor. Pray for Rhonda Gates. She will be having a 2-5 hour heart ablation today. Please pray it will be successful and keep her heart in rhythm. Pray for Lou May. Her surgery to replace her aortic valve has been rescheduled for early Tuesday morning, Sept. 15th. She will be going to the hospital for prep work this afternoon at 1:00 pm. Pray that nothing will hinder her from having this surgey. JoAnna Tally is being discharged from the hospital today. Pray for pain relief and her recovery to go well. Rhonda Gates came through her heart ablation. The doctor said it was successful. She will be at the hospital at leasst 4 more hours or so. Please be in prayer for Lou May. She is having an aortic valve replacement this morning at 10:00. Please pray this surgery goes well. Carol Thomas has requested prayer for Alaina Hill Koontz. Alaina and her 3 chidren were involved in an automobile accident. They were hit by a drunk driver. The children were released from the hospital but Alaina after 7 or so days hasn't been able to wake up. Please pray for God's touch upon her body. Please be in prayer for Hailey Caudill (Keryl Edward's granddaughter). She went back to the hospital Sunday night. She was having migraines. When she got to the hospital she started having seizures. She is heavily sedated and in ICU. Please pray for God's touch on Hailey. Continue to pray for Judy McDaniel. She is a good friend of Linda Ratliff. She has been diagnosed with pneumonia. Doctors are keeping her sedated because otherwise she becomes very aggitated. Please pray for healing. Pray for JoAnna Tally. She is scheduled for Hiatel Hernia surgery tomorrow. Pray there won't be any complications. Pray this surgery will remedy health issues she has been having. Pray for Lou May. She is being discharged from the hospital. Because of other emergency surgeries, doctors were unable to do hers today. Her surgery will be rescheduled.

We have an update on Haley Caudill. Keryl Edward's granddaughter who was diagnosed with viral meningitis. She is now at home but she is unable to walk. She will be undergoing physical therapy. Doctors are saying this will be a long road for Hailey. Pray she will be able to walk again. Please be in prayer for the family and work family of Sametra Dalton. This is a coworker of April Cooke. She was a 44 year old nurse that passed away with cancer. She had a teenage son and was also helping care for elderly parents. Please pray for God's provision over this family as well as comfort and peace. Pray for Judy McDaniel. This is a close friend of Linda Ratliff. She was taken to the hospital early this week with health issues and is now back in the hospital because her blood pressure and oxygen dropped dramatically. We have an update on Emily Wall, Betsy Penland's niece and Amanda Lambeth's cousin. She had an aneurism that had a domino effect on her heart and lungs. Doctor's went in a second time to fix it and found additional issues which will require more surgery. We also have an update on Lorelei Druhl. She is having problems with her ostomy bag leaking and she still hasn't really been able to walk. Her prayer is that she will be able to walk by her birthday.

We want to give you an update on Betsy Penland's niece, also Amanda Lambeth's cousin, Emily Waugh. She did have an aneurism which caused a domino affect on her heart and lungs, they did try to repair the aneurism but were unable to do so. They want to give Emily time and then they will try to repair again. Please pray they can do this with success, pray for the doctors and for God's touch upon Emily. We praise the Lord that Lorelei Druhl is coming home today. There is no infection to report. Pray for continued healing and strength. Leon Koontz called to let us know his liver cancer has decreased but the tumor on a bone on his lower back has increased. He will be receiving stronger chemo treatments and is taking stronger medication which-in turn-is causing side effects. Continue to pray for God's touch upon Leon. Also remember C.A. Hartman, a friend of Leon's who fell and fractured his femur. Pray for continued improvement. Paul Enscore received a good report concerning his cancer. His PSA counts are down and his tumors have shrunk. We praise the Lord for this good news.

Please be in prayer for Lorelei Druhl. She has an appointment with Baptist Hospital today. This appointment is required by the facility she's currently at so they will know if she can be freleased to go home tomorrow. Lorelei is weak, in a lot of pain and this will be a lot on her today. Please pay for pain relief, strength and encouragement that only the Lord can give. Pray she will be able to go home tomorrow and the professional help will be provided that is needed.

They believe she had an aneurism-tests are being run and it have revealed she has a severe lung infection and heart issues. Up til this point, Emily had been healthy and active. Please pray for God to give the doctors wisdom and for God's touch upon her body.

Jim Druhl called to give us an update on Lorelei this morning. Yesterday, she was very confused, her electrolytes were way off and her magnesium was low. She has been given magnesium and a pic line was put in yesterday so she can receive nutrients. Jim asks that we specifically pray that one particular fistula will heal on its own and God will give wisdom in the days ahead. When Lorelei comes home, she will need physical therapy and nursing assistance. Pray God will provide exactly who and what is needed to provide the very best care for Lorelei. Also be in prayer for the wife of a friend of Jim's (Colleen Kerr). She was diagnosed with cancer. It has spread throughout her entire body. Another friend of Jim's is in need of prayer as he cares for his wife who is dealing with mental health issues. Pray for direction and wisdom as he determines whether or not she needs to be institutionalized.

Please remember Shirley Whiteheart in your prayers. She is experiencing pain and numbness in her legs and is unable to walk. Pray for God's touch on her body. She was supposed to come home today from the facility where she has been but doctors are still wanting to do a skin graft on her and they are suggesting putting in another pic line for infusion treatments. It is all very overwhelming. Pray for the Lord to guide the doctors, Jim, Lorelei and their daughter Christa as they make decisions.

8-03-2020 Prayer Requests

We'd like to let you know that Libby Faust came through her shoulder surgery this morning. It went well. she will remain in the hospital for a couple of days. Pray as she recovers. Please be in prayer for Michael Griffith's mother, Sandra. She goes to a cardiologist today at 4:00 p.m. to determine how to treat a corroded artery. She has a 95% blockage-pray for God's touch upon her body nd for God to give the doctor's wisdom in how to best treat this. Peggy Towns did well with her second eye surgery this morning although she did experience a little more discomfort this time following the procedure. Please pray for God's touch upon Peggy as she recovers. Lorelei Druhl is healing fairly well. She is progressing. They've had her standing and are hoping she can go home early next week. Jim & Lorelei would like us to pray for continued progress, wound care, sodium levels to come up, and in home health when Lorelei goes home. Also pray that Jim or their daughter, Krista will be able to get in and see Lorelei for a short visit at the facility she's in.

We'd like to give you an update on Lorelei Druhl. She is finally showing signs of improvement. She is getting stronger. She is not on oxygen anymore. Pray she will continue to make great strides in her overall physical condition.

Lorelei Druhl is to be moved tomorrow to a rehabilitations facility in Greensboro that has a wound specialist. Please pray for a marked improvement in the next 10 days. Paul Johnson was released from the hospital. He had pneumonia. Pray for God's touch and for Shirley as she cares for him-she has been experiencing dizziness. Pray for the family of Larry Kearns. Larry went home to be with the Lord this morning. He will lie in repose at JC Green in Wallburg Sunday, July 26 from 1-4 p.m. No family will be present. A memorial service will be planned in the future. Rhonda Gates was hospitalized with high blood pressure and AFIB Wednesday night. She is no longer in AFIB. She has been put on medication. Pray she will be able to adjust to new medication.

He was hospitalized last week with a stroke and has now been moved to Hospice House in Davidson County. Pray for his son, Chad, as he helps care for Larry. Continue to remember Carol Reedy, a friend of Patsy Thomas. She is in a hospital in Pigeon Forge, Tenn. with Covid. She's on a ventilator in critical condition but is stable. Patsy shared that Carol's doctor prays over her every morning when he does his rounds. Continue to pray for God's touch.

Jim called this afternoon and said she is extremely weak and still on a ventilator. Please pray her oxygen levels increase so that she wont have to have a trach.
