10-31-2014 Prayer Requests

Please be in  prayer for Bob Atwood, Jerol Atwood's cousin.  He has bleeding on the brain.  Please pray this will stop and for doctor's wisdom as they treat him.

Also be in prayer for Joe Stout.  He is scheduled for cancer surgery on his nose Nov. 3rd. Pray the surgery goes well.

Please be in prayer for Karen Wiley, a friend of Wayne & Ethel Goins.   She had colon cancer surgery and is now undergoing chemotherapy.  She is also holding down two jobs to care for her families needs.

We also have a praise to report!  Janie Hill came through her tests and everything is normal. 

10-30-2014 Prayer Requests

We have a praise to report--Thank you for your prayers for Dena Wilkes.  Her blood pressure is now stable and recent tests she had came back normal.

Please be in prayer for Dena's daughter-in-law, April Wilkes.  She is having a hip replacement this morning.

Please be in prayer for Janie Hill.  She is having a cerebral Arteriogram at FMC in the morning.  Pray this procedure goes well and for doctor's wisdom as they treat her.  

10-24-14 Prayer Requests

Please be in prayer for Dwayne Anderson (Charles & Kitty Presley's nephew).  He is hospitalized and appears to be losing blood platelets.  Please pray for Doctor's wisdom as they treat him.

Also remember the family of James Yale as his funeral service will be today at 5pm here at Faith.  Visitation with the family will be just prior to the service from 3:30 pm to 4:45 pm

10-21-14 Prayer Requests

Please be in prayer for Odell Yow (Lisa Shirley's father).  He is at FMC being treated for Colitis.  Pray for doctor's wisdom as they treat him.

Also be in prayer for Joan Thomas.  She is having issues with diverticulitis.  Pray for healing.

Pray for Sandra Parker.  She is back at Wesley Long Hospital.  She is experiencing complications from her recent surgery.  Please pray for complete healing for Sandra and pray for her family.

We also have several praises to report.  Anna Atwood's doctor was able to succesfully remove a spot on her leg.  The doctor was able to get it all.  Continue to pray for Anna as she heals.  Lew Thomas had a good report from his colonoscopy this morning.  We praise the Lord for this good news.

10-20-14 Prayer Requests

Please be in prayer for the family of James Yale.  He passed away early this afternoon.

Please pray for Lou Thomas-he is having a colonoscopy in the morning.  Pray for good results.

10-17-14 Prayer Requests

Please be in prayer for Benjamin Craver (Robert & Cheryl Craver's son).  He was working at a school in Charlotte and fell from some bleachers.  He fractured his vertebrae.  Please pray for a good recovery.

We also want to share a praise that Robert's sister Karen Foye got to come home from the hospital after having heart valve surgery.  Continue to pray as she recovers.

Thank you for your prayers for Becky Lyerly.  She is doing fine following surgery and will hopefully go home from the hospital on Monday.

10-16-14 Prayer Requests

The arrangements for Mary Jo Annas's mother, Marie Crater are as follows.  Visitation will be be at Hayworth Miller in Kernersville from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 16th.   The funeral will take place at Triad Baptist in Kernersville at 2:00 a.m. on Friday, October 17th.

Please be in prayer for Beverly Lyerly.  She is having surgery tomorrow.       

10-15-14 Prayer Requests

Please be in prayer for Anna Atwood.  She is having a spot removed from her leg tomorrow.  Pray the doctor will be able to remove the entire spot and that she will have a good recovery.

Please be in prayer for Mary Jo Annas and family upon the death of her mother Marie Crater. 

Also continue to pray for Dena Wilkes.  She is going to a urologist tomorrow.  Pray for that appointment as well as for doctor's wisdom as they try to stabalize her blood pressure.

We also want to report Sandra Parker went home from the hospital.  Please pray as she recovers from cancer surgery.

10-8-14 Prayer Requests

Please be in prayer for Tim Stout (Joe & Susie Stout's son).  He is in the hospital in Warsaw, Indiana.  He has a blood clot in his lung.  He was admitted yesterday.

Also be in prayer for Pat Dix, Michael Griffith's aunt.  She is having surgery today to remove a growth on her lung.  Pray for doctor's wisdom as they treat her and pray nothing has spread to her lymph nodes.  Also continue to remember Michael's mother Sandra as she is at home recovering from Pneumonia. 

10-07-2014 Prayer Requests

Please be in prayer for Terry Jones (Teresa Johnson's father).  He is having knee surgery this morning.  Pray the surgery goes well.

Also remember the family of Jerome Fletcher.  He was a good friend of Chip Edwards.  He was a victim of a homicide.  He was 29 years old and leaves 3 children behind.  Please pray for peace and comfort for this family.

Please be in prayer for Sandra Druhl, Jim & Lorelei's Druhl's daughter-in-law.  She will have an endoscopy tomorrow.  Pray for good results as well as her overall health needs.

We have an update on Kalie Davis, Melody Williams' cousin's daughter.  A blood clot was found in her left femeral vein.  It became infected with merca and went septic.  She is in a great deal of pain.  She is expected to be in ICU 6-8 weeks.  100 blood clots of various sizes are in her lung.  Please pray none will break and head for her brain causing a stroke.  She is being treated for Pneumonia.  Doctors confirmed there is no damage to her heart and surgery is not needed.  Her mother, Cindy, wants to thank everyone for praying.  Just a few days ago, doctors said things were hopeless.  they are now saying there is hope and her condition is slowly getting better.  She is not out of the woods.  Please continue to pray for Kalie
